Tantra yoga and the philosophy of tantras come from India. Actually the concept of tantras or in other words energy centers in your body also exist in other countries like, China, Japan, Tibet, Nepal, Korea and many more, as there are many different forms of tantras (like Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Bönpo). The concept of tantras and their effect on the body also differ in connection to the religion it is from.
Tantra yoga concentrates on the tantras in your body and the energy moving through those energy centers. More precisely, keeping the tantras clean so that energy would not have any problems moving around in your body as it is one of the foundations of life. Tantra yoga is actually not only a type of yoga, but a completely different state of mind and body.
Tantra yoga acquires a qualified instructor as the whole style of yoga follows quite strict guidelines and not following them can bring unwanted results. In addition, tantra yoga is usually not the type of yoga to start from if you have never done any yoga before it is rather a state to advance. If you are now interested in tantra yoga it is advised to do some more research to be sure that the beliefs suit yours and you are really sure that this is the type of yoga for you.
